A DAY AT STAY FLOOFY
A typical day, start to finish.
Every routine flexes around your dog’s own age, personality and energy — this is the shape of the day, not a rigid schedule.
Step 1
Morning
Freshly awake mornings can be a little chaotic. Everyone starts with terrace time to walk around, stretch and do their business, followed by access to the common areas to run around, explore and play. Freshly prepared breakfast follows once everyone has settled into the morning.
Step 2
Rest & relaxation
While the dogs are active in the morning, their bedrooms are deep-cleaned. After play, breakfast and potty time, they return to spacious bedrooms with their assigned groups while the common areas are cleaned. They have room to move around, comfortable resting space and water available. Fans remain on, while AC is used depending on the season and weather.
Step 3
Play & enrichment
Most play is deliberately natural — exploring around the house, moving between spaces and interacting with the dogs they are comfortable with. We generally avoid introducing food or toys into group play where they could create unnecessary competition or conflict.
Step 4
Afternoon nap
Afternoon rest returns to the same comfortable bedroom setup. Dogs settle with their familiar assigned groups, with room to move around and water available while they get a proper break before the next active part of the day.
Step 5
Evening play & socialisation
Once everyone is rested, the house becomes lively again. The evening is another relaxed stretch for free movement, exploration and time with their familiar groups rather than a forced activity programme.
Step 6
Dinner & bedtime
After dinner there is a final terrace and potty round before everyone settles back into their familiar bedroom groups for the night. Filtered water is refreshed roughly every 4–5 hours. Fans remain on, while AC depends on the season and weather. Music is generally not used overnight, and a human is assigned during the night. Parents receive a minimum update in the morning and another before sleep.

before their first Stay Floofy stay.
Before booking
Stay Floofy is home boarding, not a kennel. Dogs stay in a home environment rather than cages or kennel blocks, with familiar routines, play, rest and care planned around compatible groups.
Premium Stay starts from ₹750/night. Explorer is ₹1,000/night for 1–10 nights, Milky Way ₹900/night for 11–20 nights, and Galaxy ₹750/night for 21+ nights. Explore Premium Stay.
Core annual vaccinations must be current, and tick prevention must be within the effective protection period for the product used. Please share any relevant care information before the stay.
A Meet & Greet is required before a stay, except where Vikram makes a genuine case-by-case exception for circumstances such as an emergency. Start the conversation to arrange the right next step.
Care is home-based, with thoughtful introductions, supervision and small compatible groups. Stay Floofy does not publish a fixed public capacity because each group is planned around the dogs’ comfort and assessment.
During the stay
Share your dog’s background, routines and comfort needs first. A trial, day-care or short familiarisation stay is strongly preferred before a longer or first stay, especially when it helps a dog settle at their own pace.
Standard home-cooked meals are included. For a special or preferred diet, parents provide the food and Stay Floofy can store and prepare it where appropriate. Normal home-based parent/vet-directed medication can be administered with clear instructions.
Any concern is communicated promptly. If urgent veterinary care is reasonably required, Stay Floofy first tries to reach you and your emergency contact, and coordinates with your preferred veterinarian whenever reasonably possible.
Parents normally receive around 2–4 photo or video updates a day, and can message or check in at any time. WhatsApp is the main day-to-day communication channel; video calls can also be arranged.
